The Hudson Police Department utilized the FAAC Driving Simulator Decision Making Course this morning with Assistant Director Bates. The officers also trained in the use of tire deflation devices.
The driving simulator contains 260 pre-programmed scenarios but also allows for customized scenarios. The training focuses on decision making, safety and procedures. The cab has emergency lights, siren, radio and MDT for the student to utilize. The scenario can be played back for review and discussion.
The simulator is located at the Dale Earnhardt Regional Innovation Center. Contact TJ Bates if your agency is interested in training with the driving simulator. [email protected]
