FYI Jackie Nurrie Needham passed away on 12-15-25.

It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of my wife and best friend Jackie, who departed peacefully at her home on December 15, 2025. Her loyal dog and cats, as well as her husband, were by her side. Jackie had been bravely fighting a long-term illness and made the selfless decision to discontinue treatment and enter home hospice care in late August. As her health declined, she found solace in the company of loved ones who visited and shared cherished memories. Jackie's love for those who knew her was immense, and she will be deeply mourned. A celebration of life will take place in early spring, with details to be posted on this page.

Services to be handled by Langelands on 9th St., Kalamazoo.
Obituary at Langelands Life Story. Visitation will take place Tuesday, May 27,2025 from 5-8 pm at Langeland Funeral home, 3926 S 9th Street, Kalamazoo. A memorial service will be held at Parchment United Methodist Church on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at 11am preceded by a visitation at 10 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Parchment UMC or the American Heart Association.

Jill Ellen Dykehouse, age 75, passed away Saturday, April 6, 2024. She was born in Kalamazoo, MI to the late Garrett and Mary (Frederick) Dykehouse on October 20, 1948. Jill was a lifelong Kalamazoo resident and a graduate of Loy Norrix High School. She attended Michigan State University as well as Kalamazoo Valley Community College. Jill worked throughout the years in various administrative roles for Western Michigan University, the Upjohn Company and the Kalamazoo Community Foundation.
She is survived by her sister, Gail Drayton; brothers, Rod Dykehouse and Bruce (Cheryl) Dykehouse; nephew, Matt (Kelly) Richmond; niece, Jennifer (Andy) Merriman; great nieces, Lauren, Marley, Sidney and Stella; as well as many cousins and terrific friends.
A Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date. Those desiring may make memorial contributions in Jill's memory, to the charity of their choice.
