Do you know an educator who goes above and beyond for students with autism? Now is the time to celebrate their dedication and impact!

The Richard L. Simpson Conference on Autism Outstanding Educator Award honors an individual who demonstrates excellence in serving students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Nominations are welcome from parents, colleagues, administrators, and professional organizations. The recipient will be recognized at the 2026 Richard L. Simpson Conference on Autism this October and receive conference travel expenses to attend the award presentation.

Call for Proposals — Now Open!
The Midwest Symposium for Leadership in Behavior Disorders is now accepting breakout and poster session proposals for the 45th Annual Symposium in Kansas City.

We invite educators, practitioners, researchers, school leaders, behavior specialists, mental health professionals, and advocates to share innovative, research-based strategies that support children and youth with behavioral or mental health needs.

📍 Symposium Dates: February 25–27, 2027
🏨 Location: Sheraton Kansas City Hotel at Crown Center

Proposals should:
âś” Highlight research-based practices
âś” Include practical applications for participants
âś” Identify intended audience and session level
âś” Engage professionals supporting students with behavioral needs
