Bounce houses, splash station, obstacle course, treats and face-painting, new books, reading in the hammocks, music, and a day of fabulous weather! We couldn’t have asked for a better Fun Day.
Greeenhaven PTO would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who helped make this event possible.

We would like to extend a special thank you to Principal Mr. Bestul for his involvement, support, and enthusiasm throughout Fun Day.

We would also like to thank Acting Superintendent, Carrie McDonald for taking the time to visit and celebrate with our Greenhaven community. It meant a great deal to have your presence as we marked the close of this school year.

A distinct moment of the day was welcoming back the Class of 2026 during their graduation walk-through. Seeing the graduates return to the halls where many of their educational journeys began was both inspiring and meaningful for our students and staff.

As our school community prepares for an upcoming transition, this year's Fun Day felt especially significant. While many of us are experiencing a range of emotions as we say goodbye to a school that has been part of our community since 1955, we are grateful for the generations of students, families, educators, and staff who have helped shape its legacy.

Most importantly, we are thankful for the joy, friendships, and memories created here over the years—and for moments like this one that remind us how special our school community has always been.

👋The entire current LPTO board (with the exception of volunteer coordinator) will be moving on to the High school with our students next school year.

📃An entirely new board will need to be elected to continue things like fall fundraisers, popcorn Fridays, funding field trips and bussing, hosting school dances, etc.

❄️☃️ What a WONDERFUL Winter Fun Day at Greenhaven ☃️❄️

Last week, our students had an absolute blast enjoying everything winter has to offer — from sledding down snowy hills to trying out snowshoeing adventures! 🛷❄️ 🏒Boot hockey games and warming up by the fire with delicious donut holes and juice. 🔥🍩🥤
A HUGE thank you to our amazing volunteers who made this special day possible, and a special shout out to our Youth in Action students who volunteered. Your time, planning, and helping hands created such a meaningful experience for our kids.
