While you’re waiting for your child’s next big milestone, look at what is happening along the way.
Are they joining in more comfortably? Asking questions when they need help? Taking a breath before another attempt? Remembering something they needed help with before?
That is progress worth recognizing.
At Warrior, Growth Month reminds us to pay attention to the everyday moments that show children are learning.
Tonight, try saying, “I noticed you…” and name one specific step your child took.
You may help them see progress they had not recognized in themselves.
