Last week we hosted the official visit of our Right Worshipful District Deputy Grand Master, our very own R∴W∴ Daniel Molina. Prior to the start of the visit, R∴W∴ Molina shared Masonic Education with his presentation titled “Between the Grand East and the Craft: the Office of the District Deputy Grand Master in Florida Freemasonry”. Traveling with our District Deputy were our District Committeemen, “Ocean’s 27” and our District Instructor and fellow Hialeah Mason R∴H∴ Fernando Pavon. Our Lodge was awarded the Masonic Education Achievement award, as well as an award for Public Education and Citizenship. Brother Frank Alvarez was awarded his MM 1,2,3 certificate, and Brother Enrique Batista was awarded his Master Mason certificate. Following the awards, our District Deputy closed out the night by sharing our Grand Master’s message. It was another wonderful evening of Masonic Education and Fellowship at HOL391.

Please join us in welcoming our 2 newest Entered Apprentices! We had the absolute pleasure of initiating Brothers Yeison and Siavash into our Lodge. The Degree Team did a phenomenal job, and many laughs were shared throughout the evening. At HOL we take great pride in preserving and performing our ritual, and we had an amazing time welcoming our 2 new Apprentices. Congratulations, Brothers!

On Saturday, May 9th, under the canopy of heaven, Hialeah Opa-Locka Lodge No. 391 conferred the Sublime Degree of Master Mason upon Brothers Ryan Morgan of Royal Palm Lodge No. 100 and Enrique Bastista. This occasion marked the first time in well over a decade that a degree was conferred outdoors, making it a truly memorable event for all in attendance.
Worshipful Brother Lazaro Moreira presided in the East for the first section, exemplifying a calm, stoic demeanor and a commanding presence. Worshipful Brother Ruben Ovalle presided over the second section, distinguished by his excellence in ritual work and masterful portrayal of his role.
The ceremony was attended by several dignitaries from the 26th, 27th, and 29th Masonic Districts, including Right Worshipful District Deputy Grand Master Kelvin Justice, along with numerous Brothers who gathered in support of the newly raised Master Masons.
This distinguished event was made possible through special dispensation granted by Most Worshipful Tali Atala, Grand Master of Masons of Florida.

Join us under the Canopy of Heaven as we Raise 2 Brothers to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason. Saturday May 9th, 2026 at the Otaño Moreira Nursery. Bring your own chair, and carpooling is encouraged. Doors open at 6pm and the Degree will begin promptly at 6:45. This event is open to all Master Masons in good standing with a current dues card. We hope to see you there to assist us in providing a unique initiatic experience. Reach out to W∴ Ruben Ovalle with questions.
