Hello Midway ISD friends and families. Here is a breakdown of potential negative consequences if SB 2 should pass into law for our school district. I have vetted this information to be true with my resources around the state. This bill has passed the senate, which we expected it to, but it can be struck down in the house. Please reach out to your House of Representative and let them know your concerns. I am happy to help direct you to resources if needed. Public education depends on parents and educators involvement.

I am so happy to be apart of ATPE - Association of Texas Professional Educators. It was an amazing weekend of discussion and making plans to make our association and public education even better than it is. I am so glad and thankful of the support and encouragement as this year’s state president from members and the Board of Directors.
