To celebrate the letter V, we did the children's favorite volcano science experiment today! The kiddos loved watching the chemical reaction of the baking soda and vinegar erupt.🌋
All we used was baking soda, vinegar, and red food coloring.

For the letter R, the children launched their very own Rocket! 🚀
We discussed how the gas pushing down causes the rocket to shoot up—an equal and opposite reaction!
This is one of their favorite experiments 🥰
All we used was water and Alka-Seltzer.

Alphabet Theme Activities: Every day, the children focus on one letter. They find objects that begin with that letter, or with a few other letters, count them, and sort them by size, color, texture, and beginning sound. They also complete worksheets to trace, color, and identify the specific letter, along with other interactive activities. They especially love scavenger hunts, where they practice identifying letters, beginning sounds, shapes, colors, numbers, and counting.

We did a fun experiment for the letter P—predicting physical changes by dropping colorful jellybeans into cups with different solutions. We predicted and observed which liquid dissolved the candy the fastest and slowest.
Ingredients we used: warm water, cold water, salt water, cranberry juice, vinegar, vegetable oil, and jelly beans.

For our science experiment, we explored the letter L with a fun and surprising “Leak-Proof Bag” experiment! The children made predictions before carefully poking sharp pencils straight through a Ziploc bag filled with water. To everyone’s amazement, the bag didn’t leak!
The children were excited to see science in action as they learned about polymers and discovered how the stretchy plastic molecules can “hug” the pencils, creating a seal that keeps the water inside.
