HUSD will be hosting its elementary Smash Brothers Tournament on 12/06/2023 starting at 4PM. The event will be held at the Hesperia Junior High Gymnasium and spectators are welcome! Spectator tickets are $2 per adult and $1 per student. So come out and enjoy some amazing gaming and support our students who are just getting into and learning about the fundamentals of game design and esport career opportunities.

Our school hallways were turned into a sea of blue on World Kindness Day! Students showed their kindness by wearing their favorite shades of blue and spreading positivity throughout the school. From holding doors open to offering compliments, our students made the day a true celebration of kindness.

Our amazing TK students from Ms. Dais' and Ms. Roa's class learned about echolocation today! They learned how bats and other animals use echolocation to find their way around and catch food. Then, they played a game to use their own sense of hearing to locate where a noise was coming from.

Ms. Dais' kinder kids explored how incline and shape affect speed. The steeper the incline, the faster objects move. They also found that rounder objects move faster.
