It’s Thankful Thursday, and today we’re shining the spotlight on some of the amazing staff members who help our Kingston Knights learn, grow, and succeed! 🏰

We caught up with Mrs. Miranda, Mrs. Boydston, Ms. Cassidy, and Mr. Andrew to hear what they’re thankful for. From our teachers to our proctors and instructional assistants, every member of our team plays an important role in making Kingston such a special place for our students 🍎📚

🍳☕ A Delicious Start to the School Year! 💙💛

A HUGE thank you to Kingston’s TK Team for preparing our first staff breakfast of the school year! 🥞🍓☕ What an amazing selection of food and such a thoughtful way to bring our staff together! We’re so grateful for the time and care they put into making breakfast for our Kingston family🏰💙💛

💙💛 Thankful Thursday! ☀️

This week, our Knights have a little extra to be thankful for: cooler temperatures! 🌤️🙌

After all that last heatwave, our students have been loving the chance to get outside, play, run around, and simply enjoy some time on the playground with their friends. 🏃‍♀️⚽️

There’s nothing quite like seeing our Knights happy, active, and thriving, especially when the weather finally gives us a break! 🏰💙💛

Staff Spotlight: Our Amazing 2nd Grade Team! 📚⚔️

Say hello to the incredible teachers who help our second graders Dive Deep, Dream Big, and Learn More every day! 🌊📖

And if you’ve noticed our 2nd grade team rocking matching gear on Mondays, you already know they’re bringing the team spirit! 🙌

✏️ Miss Allen: Loves teaching writing and watching students’ imagination and creativity shine through their work.

📝 Ms. Barr: Loves teaching writing because it’s fun, enjoyable, and full of imagination.

➗ Mrs. Cortez: Loves teaching math and seeing those amazing “a-ha!” moments when everything clicks.

🎨 Mrs. Farris: Loves teaching writing and watching students be creative and brave with their ideas while seeing their confidence grow.

📚 Mrs. Sanchez: Loves teaching students how to read and seeing their “a-ha!” moments as everything starts to click.

We’re so thankful for the passion, creativity, and teamwork this group brings to Kingston every day! 💙⚔️

Let’s give a HUGE shoutout to Ms. Castillo, Mrs. Centeno, and Mrs. Farris’ classes for winning this week’s Friday Knights School Spirit Competition! 🎉

Our Friday Knights winners are selected based on which classes show the most Kingston school spirit by wearing our school colors, and these classes definitely showed up ready to represent! 🛡️

Ms. Castillo especially wanted to celebrate her little Knights for working so hard over the past two weeks to finally take down the reigning champions, Ms. Dais’ class! 👀👏

Congratulations, Knights! Keep showing that Kingston pride! 🏰

☀️💧 Keep Cool, Kingston Knights 💧☀️

As temperatures stay high, our Knights are using a portable water station to help beat the heat! Our amazing lead custodian has been working hard to keep the water iced and full so our students can stay safe and hydrated while having fun out on the field!

We’re so grateful for the behind the scenes work that helps keep our Knights comfortable and cared for throughout the school day ❤️

Throughout this year, we’ll be highlighting some of the amazing staff members and teams who help make Kingston Elementary School such a wonderful place to have fun, learn, and grow!

To kick off our staff spotlights, we’re excited to introduce our amazing 4th Grade Team for this school year: Mr. Gonzales, Mrs. Centeno, Mrs. Wharton, and Mrs. Banuelos! 📚🍎

These dedicated teachers work hard to ensure our students are surrounded by an environment where they feel supported, challenged, encouraged, and excited to learn. They bring their passion, creativity, and commitment to the classroom every day, helping our 4th graders grow both academically and personally. 🌟
