Joining her is Mrs. Sims, our new Assistant Principal! Mrs. Sims comes to us with seven years of fantastic leadership experience as the AP at Mission Crest Elementary.

Together, they are excited to partner with our amazing staff, students, and families to make Mesa Grande the absolute best school in the district. We can’t wait to get started—let’s go, Mesa Mustangs! 💙✨

Hello Mustangs! This is a friendly reminder from Mesa Grande Elementary to update your student’s Digital Emergency Card on Infinite Campus for the upcoming school year. Accurate contact information ensures the safety of all our students. Please complete this update as soon as possible. All students whose family completes the Digital Emergency Card before the first day of school, will be allowed to participate in our Incredible Ice Cream Extravaganza. Mesa Grande families, we are so excited to start planning parent/guardian workshops for next year. We are currently planning our Family Success Series and would love your feedback! Our Family Success Series is designed to provide practical tools and strategies for managing challenging behaviors, strengthening family relationships, and supporting your child’s success at home and school. If you are interested in attending, please fill out the survey by June 12th!

Yesterday at Mesa Grande, we held Dress Like Mr. Kirk Day, and our students and staff absolutely understood the assignment! From his signature style to his unstoppable energy, the campus was flooded with mini-Mr. Kirks showing him just how much he is loved and appreciated.

Last Friday, our 6th graders were treated to a BBQ by our awesome parent group. We could not have done this without them. Best wishes, 6th graders!

Last week, our youngest Mustangs had their Field Day. Thank you to all of the staff and all of the amazing parent volunteers that helped make this such a fun time for our students.
