Greetings Rattler Community!

We have an exciting week ahead at RMS! On Monday, we're kicking off our PBIS Monday Night Football event. A single ticket covers your student and the entire family, so come out for a fun evening together and support our school.

Our fall athletics are also in full swing—both Cross Country and Wrestling have competitions this week. Be sure to check our calendar for details so you can cheer on our athletes!

Finally, this is the last week to vote for Ranchero Middle School in the Best of the Desert competition! Please cast your vote and help us bring home the banner to celebrate the hard work of our incredible students and staff.

Students in Ms. Alexi's SAI 8th grade history class stepped back in time to the Boston Tea Party! To get into the spirit of 1773, they carved their own stamps, created detailed doodle note pamphlets, and even wrote breakup letters to King George III and England. It was a creative, hands-on way to bring history to life in the classroom.

What a way to kick off the school year! A huge thank you to our ASB team for hosting an incredible first dance, "Lattes and Lowriders." The energy was high, the music was great, and it was awesome seeing our students come together, dance, and make memories. We are excited to have our afterschool intervention, tutoring, clubs, and enrichment programs up and running! 🎉📚

There are so many amazing opportunities for our students to grow academically, build new skills, discover new interests, and have FUN! 🙌

From extra academic support through intervention and tutoring to exciting clubs and enrichment activities, we have something for everyone!

🚌 Eligible Bus Riders:
Students who who ride the bus and attend an afterschool program will have access to the afterschool bus on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.

Greetings Rattler Community,

A HUGE shout-out to ASB for hosting our first dance of the season! Our students had a fantastic time, and this is just a glimpse of the many amazing events we have planned throughout the year. Keep an eye on the calendar as more fun ASB and PBIS events are coming up this month!

This week, we are excited to host our very first Wrestling Meet at RMS! We hope you’ll come out and support our incredible wrestling team. While extreme heat forced us to cancel Thursday’s Cross Country meet, please note that it has been rescheduled for September 21st.

Finally, a quick reminder that our after-school programs are up and running! From academic support to creative clubs, there are plenty of opportunities for students to get involved. We also provide after-school transportation for eligible students.
