Victor Valley College has 23 general education classes they will be offering to area residents at their mini-VVC site on our Hesperia High School campus. Many of these classes begin the week of February 18th. Others begin in March and April. This is a great opportunity--whether you are looking to add a class this term, wanting to resume your college program, or ready to start your college journey!

Huge congrats to HHS Scorpion basketball standout Berlynn Miramontes who, in December, scored her 1,000th career point! Berlynn is averaging 16.6 points and 3.6 assists per game. She is also an exceptional student and inspires her teammates and classmates alike. Well done, Berlynn, on this incredible milestone!

HUSD recently learned of the unfortunate closure of Encore Middle/High School. Our staff is eager to assist any Encore families who live within the district boundaries and wish to attend an HUSD school to make this untimely transition as seamless as possible. For more information, we ask parents and students to go to Hesperiausd.org/o/husd/page/enrollment. If parents need help determining which HUSD school services their home address, please contact the HUSD Student Services Department at (760)244-4411 ext. 7233. Current High School seniors wishing to enroll are encouraged to meet with their school site’s counseling office as soon as possible and bring their Encore transcripts. Attention parents, due to circumstances outside of the district's control bus routes Juniper 10, Maple 10, OHHS 43, CMS 43, OHHS 45, MHS 73, SHS 73 & RMS 75 will be late to drop students off today. Please be patient with our transportation department as they work hard to ensure all students make it to their destinations safely.

Today at Mojave High Administration teamed up with PJ's Pals to have trained therapy dogs to provide social emotional support for all interested students. The Holiday are great, but it's also important to remember that the Holidays may be a time of extra support needs for some. Awesome work Coyotes!

For today's we go to Hesperia Jr. High. The Hesperia Junior High Music Program has been an integral component of the HJH school community for over six decades. Each year, hundreds of devoted students participate in the program, preparing them for continued musical pursuits in high school and beyond.

The Hesperia Junior High Music Program recently showcased their incredible talent and dedication during their highly successful Holiday Concert, which played to a packed, standing-room-only audience. Comprising Choir, Orchestra, and Band students, the program brings the community together multiple times a year with outstanding performances. Under the expert leadership of Music Director Mr. Sears, the students not only develop their musical abilities but also grow in confidence and self-esteem. Mr. Sears fosters a positive and inclusive learning environment, inspiring students to reach their full potential while sharing his own passion and deep knowledge of music. Beyond their concerts, the talented music students will contribute to the upcoming Alice in Wonderland musical this Spring, further highlighting their impact on campus. HJH is proud to celebrate the success of the Music Program and grateful for the joy and inspiration it brings to the school and community.
