Hello CSEA Local Chapter #684! As we near the end of the calendar year and soon enjoy a two week winter break; we want to remind you there will be a chapter meeting, December 13, 2022 at 5PM by Zoom. We also will be voting on an MOU regarding LVN assistance from a 3rd party. Please make sure you look out for an email from the CSEA.president.

MOU Out of Class Pay - Ratified and Passed

Classified employees have been working extremely hard throughout the pandemic. A lot of employees have been working out of their classification to assist their sites and departments due to vacant positions, staff shortages, and site needs.

In September, Hesperia Unified School District and CSEA Local Chapter #684 met and discussed the need to continue this flexibility due to shortages. As a result, both parties agreed to a Memorandum Of Understanding to pay 5% over employees regular hourly rate, or at Step A of the other classification, whichever is higher, beginning the first day worked. Last Night Board approved all of our agreements and then some.
Your pay increase was approved.
You should see it in Oct, yes Retroactive until July 1, 2021.

If you work for Hesperia Unified School District, are classified, and have a degree according to Article 6 of our CBA, please submit by email a copy of your transcript or certificate to Jacki Pryor in Personnel by SEPTEMBER 30, 2021!!! You will receive an annual stipend.
