7 DAYS OF SCHOOL SAFETY — DAY 2

Today’s focus is School Bus Safety.

When a school bus is stopped with its red lights flashing and stop arm extended, slow down and stop.

Watch for children, give buses plenty of space, and stay alert in areas where buses are loading and unloading.

A few seconds of patience can help protect a child.

Today is the deadline for all Transportation Intent entries/forms to be entered/turned in. If you have a student that needs to ride a Perquimans County Schools yellow bus, and you have not already done so, please complete the online Transportation Intent Form TODAY!!! Information submitted after today will not be guaranteed transportation until after the first 2 weeks of school.

We are having a "Transportation Night" at Central School for ALL schools if anyone wants to come and fill out their form "in person". We will be there from 3-7.

Come see us tomorrow night, Tuesday, August 11, 2026 from 3:00 - 7:00 pm at Perquimans Central School! Tuesday, August 11th is the LAST DAY to submit a Transportation Intent form to guarantee school bus transportation the first 2 weeks of school!
No form = No bus
