College Preparation & Resources Focus on Application Boot Camps with Academic Advising & Test Prep to strengthen college admissions

For rising 6th through 10th graders in Hershey - Use the QR Code below to REGISTER for SUMMER MATH SESSIONS to review math from this past school year so you are prepared for NEXT YEAR'S MATH CLASS.
-TEN 1-hour review sessions for $50 total.
-Courses being reviewed include 6th-grade math, 7th-grade math, algebra, geometry, algebra2, trigonometry, algebra2/trig, and precalculus.
-Sessions are live at The Learning Center in Hershey
-Zoom available upon request
-Groups of 1-4 students, beginning the weeks of June 21 & 28
-Once assigned to a tutor/group, schedules will be determined based on your student's availability
-Tutors are Hershey High School juniors who are math honor students.

The College Board has just announced it will be cancelling the June SAT, but will be offering SAT Testing opportunities later in the year to make up for this.
Please let us know if you are interested in our Unique Test Prep sessions to help you Max your Score when you do take either the SAT or ACT!!

I hope you are all staying safe as we all do our best to deal with COVID-19.
Although the Learning Center in Hershey is closed, College Preparation & Resources continues our commitment to your COLLEGE APPLICATION process!!

Let us help you now!!

Register for our BOOT CAMP program that helps you prepare and submit the COMMON APP by August 1st!! (note that all sessions will be remote via ZOOM).

Beginning this month, we will schedule weekly 1-hour sessions through August 1st for groups of 4 students (create a group or join in one of ours . . . )

Session 1 - INTRO to ZOOM VIRTUAL Classes and orientation to entire Boot Camp Process

Sessions 2 through 4 - RESUME - we make sure you have completed & documented appropriate work to maximize your Scholarship, Leadership, Service & Career aspects of your resume, in the appropriate "common app" format

Sessions 5 through 7 - COLLEGE LIST - we work together to develop/finalize the list of schools to apply to, including use of a search engine to match your needs to appropriate schools

Sessions 8 through 9 - ESSAY STRATEGIES - we help you develop your key attributes into appropriate essay responses

Sessions 10 through 15 - COMMON APPLICATION - we walk you through all aspects of the Common App process

POST SUBMISSION - this important component is to make sure you follow-up with FALL SAT/ACT testing if needed, guidance & teacher recommendations, and MP1&2 admissions updates after submitting, as well as assistance with final decisions using our unique algorithm

In addition to scheduled sessions, we will use Google Docs and email/texting for personal reviews of student materials to supplement actual meeting times.
