Today during of one our activities, we participated in our first team challenge. During these learning experiences students are presented with opportunities to foster a growth mindset, overcome challenges, and embrace team work in a fun and collaborative way as they work together to complete the task at hand!

Today’s challenge was to create the longest paper chain they could with only one piece of paper, and one glue stick! They worked super hard and came up with some amazing chains!

Our final Student in the Spotlight for the year goes to Jace Vang. He was absent last week on his Spotlight Day, so we had to celebrate him a little later.

Jace has earned the Happy Camper Award, for his happy attitude. Jace enjoys coming to school every day, and always meets me at the door with a smile and a high five or a hug. He is always eager to give a hug, and is also in tune to how others are feeling.

Jace does whatever I ask of him with a happy attitude, and he truly does have such a caring heart. He loves nature and animals, and also loves learning and sharing new things or experiences he’s had.

Way to go Jace, we are PROUD of YOU!
