Mr. Blase inspires creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving through hands-on STEAM learning experiences that encourage students to think beyond the classroom. From student-led broadcasts on Trojan News Network to innovative design projects featuring 3D printing and game creation, his passion for engaging students in meaningful learning shines every day.

Celebrating Our Cultures at HHS 🧡💙

Yesterday, students proudly represented their cultures during “Rep Your Culture Day”! From flags and traditional clothing to sports jerseys and fun t-shirts, students and staff shared pieces of who they are and sparked meaningful conversations throughout the school day.

As we wrap up Teacher Appreciation Week, we wanted to share one final message from a parent that truly captures the impact our teachers make each day and just how grateful we are for all that they do. Bike to School Day 🚲🧡

Derry Township School District and Derry Township brought back a community staple on Wednesday, Bile to School Day! Rain or shine, it’s always a good day to get outside, get exercise and bike to school. Our students showed up despite the weather and made for an incredible morning.

Thank you to our incredible volunteers who joined us including InGear Cycling & Fitness, Pedal Pushers Bike Shop, Recycle Bicycle, Penn State Pediatric Injury Prevention, Hershey Entertainment and Resorts, and Derry Township Police Department!

Hershey Elementary Chorus and Orchestra concert will be held on May 18th at Hershey High School at 7pm. Join us for a wonderful night of music and celebrate our musicians hard work.

This week is Teacher Appreciation Week, a time to pause and reflect on how grateful we are at Derry Township School District to have such incredible teachers. Each day, they demonstrate care, dedication, and support for every student who walks our hallways. Join us in celebrating all they do for our school community!

Join us Thursday May 7th for the HHS Orchestras final concert of the year, at 7pm in the HHS Auditorium! Our performance will feature our two Concert Competition co-winners, as well as a world premiere by our “in-residence” student composer. We conclude with a combined finale of Marquez’s vibrant "Danzon #2”. Don’t miss this!

Rain may have made an appearance, but it didn’t stop our 7th graders from having an unforgettable day at the Harrisburg Senators game! ⚾️🌧️

Students showed that a little rain can’t dampen Trojan spirit. Thank you to everyone who helped make today’s field trip such a fun and memorable experience!
