Supporting Culinary Arts and Plant & Landscape Management Students
This year, our Culinary Arts and Plant & Landscape Management students have the incredible opportunity to travel from America to Italy for an immersive educational experience that brings learning to life beyond the classroom.
To help make this dream possible, we are launching our:
Sponsoring a Mile Fundraiser
The journey from the United States to Italy is 4360 miles long — and we are asking our community, families, businesses, and supporters to help sponsor the trip one mile at a time!
How It Works:
🚍 Sponsor 1 mile, 10 miles, 100 miles, 1,000 miles — or any distance you choose at $8 a mile.
🌱 Every contribution helps students get closer to experiencing hands-on international learning opportunities like:
🍝 Authentic Italian culinary traditions, cooking classes, staying and working a family farm called an agriturismo providing a true slow food farm-to-table experience
🫒 Olive oil, cheese, balsamic vinegar, and prosciutto production tours
🌿 Historic Italian gardens, agriculture, and landscape design
🏛 Cities including Rome, Assisi, Bologna, and more
🌍 Real-world career inspiration and global education opportunities
This educational experience will allow students to connect their classroom skills to international industries, cultures, sustainability practices, and traditions.

I would like to take a moment to send out a thank you to a couple of CPI Culinary Arts alumnus Bayli and Olivia return to their alma mater after completing successful post-secondary. They both graciously paid back during Career and Technical Education month in February to provide demos to the current CPI Culinary Arts culinarians. Thank you! Thank you!! Thank you!!!
