Important registration information!

Herrin Tiger Families: IT'S REGISTRATION WEEK!

Getting ready for the upcoming school year is a two-step process:
💻 Step 1: Complete your Online Registration form.
🏫 Step 2: Finalize everything at In-Person Registration!

IN-PERSON REGISTRATION DETAILS (ALL GRADES)
Location: Herrin High School
Tuesday, July 21: 10:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Thursday, July 23: 7:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS:
📸 Student IDs: Junior High and High School students (Grades 6–12) will have their ID photos taken during in-person registration, so please ensure they attend!
🩺 On-Site Physicals (July 21 Only): The Shawnee Health Mobile Unit Team will be on-site on Tuesday, July 21 offering Kindergarten, 6th, and 9th-grade school physicals, as well as sports physicals for student-athletes. (See the flyer in the comments below!)
💻 Online Prep: Returning student forms are open (check your email for your Snapcode), and new student forms open today, July 20!

HERRIN SUMMER LUNCH PROGRAM DETAILS 🍎

We love seeing the excitement and community support for our ongoing free Summer Lunch Program! This past Tuesday alone, our incredible team served over 8,200 meals to local families! 🥪

To make sure every family has a smooth experience, here are the official details for our weekly meal pickups:

📅 When: Every Tuesday from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM (Final Pickup July 28)
📍 Location: Herrin Junior High School
🍎 What's Included: Lunch, breakfast, and snack items bundled together
👥 Who Qualifies: 100% FREE for any child ages 18 and under, in or out of district (no income limitations)

We highly encourage pre-registering so our kitchen team can accurately prepare enough meals for all children. Please call our Food Service Director, Jeannine Coffey, at 618-942-6544 for registration questions. 📋

🏛️ Please note: USDA funding for this program is perfectly stable and designed to ensure all eligible area children have access to nutritious meals throughout the summer break.

Happy Last Day of School!!!! We will miss all the 1st Graders moving on to the Elementary School and we can't wait to see all of our friends returning next year! We hope everyone enjoys their summer break!! ☀️☀️
