Hello Incoming 7th Grade Families,

We are excited to welcome our newest Diamondbacks! Before school begins, we invite you to join us for Incoming 7th Grade Family Night on Wednesday August 5, from 5:30-6:30 PM. This is separate from our school's Back to School Night and is only for our 7th graders.

This informal open house is designed to help students and parents feel prepared for the transition to middle school. Our counseling team will be available to answer questions about schedules, lockers, technology, school procedures, and opportunities to get involved. Families familiar with the school before the first day.

We hope you'll join us as we kick off a great year at Fort Herriman Middle School. We can't wait to see you there!

Returning-Student Registration for School Instructions

Registration for School window will be open from
July 29th – August 19th, 2026

You must complete the Registration for School for each one of your students as part of the registration process at the beginning of each school year. You will also be able to verify your family/student information to ensure that it is accurate and up-to-date.

Step 1 – Log in to Skyward GRADEBOOK with your PARENT “login” and “password”. (If you need to have your password reset, please contact the main office at 801-412-2450.)

Step 2 - Click “Registration for School” from the menu on the left side. Choose the student you wish to verify enrollment for by clicking on the blue link that lists their name.

Step 3 - Open and complete each step. Please mark the box labeled “I have completed this step” and continue to the next step. IF the step is optional please open and mark the box complete.

Step 4 - On the final step, you will be able to see what you have completed or not completed. After you have completed and submitted your Registration for School you will receive a confirmation email.

NOTE: If you have more than one student to verify, you will need to go back to the Registration for School screen and complete the process for your other student(s), one at a time.

Class Schedules will be available starting the second week of August. Please call the Main Office with any questions you have at 801-412-2450.

Monday, June 1 — 9th Grade Lagoon Day, modified schedule
9th graders will attend 1st period then gather for buses to Lagoon Day. Details are available in previous parent square messages. Students in other grades will follow a modified schedule.

Tuesday, June 2 — Memory Book Distribution and Signing, modified schedule
Memory books will be distributed to those who ordered them first thing in TA classes. Students will have time later in the day for memory book signing. Signature packets will be available for students who did not purchase a memory book, and students may also bring their own notebooks. Please only sign memory books or signature packets -- not other people or their clothing being worn.

Wednesday, June 3 — Talent Show / Field Day, modified schedule
Talent show assemblies will take place in the morning and a short field-day activity will take place at the end of the day. This will be the last day of school for 7th-grade students.

Thursday, June 4 — Last Day for 8th and 9th Graders, modified half-day schedule
This will be the last day of school for 8th and 9th-grade students. Students will be released at Noon. No lunch will be served, and buses will run.

Be sure to check the lost and found before June 4th.

Our lost and found is very full! If you have misplaced anything or see something that belongs to you stop by the main office.

The PTSA has ordered 50 Memory Book for day of sales. $50 CASH ONLY
