B.R.I.T.E. Preschool

For the foreseeable future, all classes are taught online.

I am hoping that some hard work will pay off soon!

I'm working hard on a project and may have exciting news in the next few weeks!

Children are really missing out in today's fast-paced environment. Electronics and "virtual play" have all but wiped out human interaction. Let your kids play in the dirt. Let them stop and watch an insect crawl. Give them opportunities to create with their hands "in real life" and not just on a screen.

I canceled my Preschool's website today. I had the website for about 20 years and have mixed emotions about it, but overall at peace with the decision. I closed B.R.I.T.E. Preschool classroom in 2020 because of Covid and moved to only online teaching. Then, a remodel that stalled prevented me from reopening. At this point, I am looking into other careers. I loved teaching preschool and it is one of the happiest memories I have.

Its been 4-years. 3.5 longer than I thought. I don't know when it will be finished.

The progress is slow, but coming along! The remodel is 2/3rds done! I am hopeful that I will be able to open a class in the spring. Keeping my fingers crossed!

The remodel is still progressing. The material costs spiked in 2021 and killed our budget so we are doing what we can when we can. I miss teaching my Littles and hope to make enough progress to open a class Fall 2024.

I have missed teaching preschool so much these past few years. Our project that was supposed to take 6 months has reached the almost 3-year mark. We are slowly working towards our goal. However, the end date is uncertain. I look forward to the day when I can reopen my preschool!

Here we are in 2023! The remodel has stalled! It's crazy to think that it began two years ago as a 6-month project. 🤪 I miss teaching the littles! Hopefully this slump will end soon and classes can resume.
