Genetics are part of the story but there are layers to chronic illness.

Want to p**p every morning? Here’s the routine I recommend.
Your liver works all night processing hormones, toxins, and metabolic waste. In the morning, your goal is to help your body eliminate them.
Step 1: Drink 16 ounces of warm—not hot—water as soon as you wake up. I add a pinch of Celtic sea salt, the juice of half a lemon, and a small amount of healthy fat, like a teaspoon of MCT oil or olive oil. The warm water helps stimulate the gastrocolic reflex, while the small amount of fat encourages your gallbladder to release bile, helping move bile and waste products into your digestive tract.
Step 2: Get 10 minutes of morning sunlight. This helps regulate your circadian rhythm, and your digestive system follows that rhythm too.
Step 3: Breathe and move. I like a few minutes on my vibration plate or a mini rebounder. Deep diaphragmatic breathing and gentle movement help stimulate your intestines and encourage a healthy morning bowel movement.
Try this routine consistently for one week and see how your body responds. Your gut loves consistency.

Gut health matters but you can’t plant a seed in ground that doesn’t have its rhythms of environmental support. This is exactly why I start with the nervous system.
It’s not just about stress, or eating the right foods.
This is why foods and the way you feel on them changes.
Follow me for more on this. I’m creating an awesome resource for you.
I had to understand my genetic story to heal my body.
This drives my practice and allows me to help clients find solutions and protocols that piece it ‘all’ together.

The nervous system rules so much of your body’s functionality.
The best diet, movement, supplements or protocols won’t work on a nervous system wired in stress and sympathetic over drive.
This is where I start.

Everything your body is managing — stress, food, hormones, infections, poor sleep — goes in. Nothing happens… until it overflows. That overflow is often the moment when symptoms "suddenly" appear.
Your bucket may be close to overflowing more often than not. I help you learn where these stressors are coming from, diet, stress, genetics, environment... and what you can do about it.
Working this signal can help support the lungs, especially during periods of poor air quality, congestion, asthma, and other types of bronchial issues.

Change the State, Change the Story
Deb Dana, one of the clearest voices in polyvagal work, says something I come back to constantly: state creates story. The narrative running through your mind — I'm too much, I can't do this, it's not safe to slow down — isn't a thinking problem. It's a state your nervous system is living in, and the story is just following along behind it.
Which means you can't talk your way into a new story. You have to shift the state first.
That's exactly where Cognomovement comes in. Instead of working from the top down — analyzing, reframing, willing yourself to feel different — we work from the body up. Through eye movements and somatic tracking, we gently move your system out of the stuck pattern it's been holding. The state changes first. And when it does, the story you've been telling has room to change too.
Most holistic work is missing one thing: the science to connect the dots.
Bloodwork tells you about one moment in time. Your genetic code never changes — which makes it the one stable map we can actually build from.
Pairing bodywork with functional genomics testing lets me see the patterns underneath the symptoms, not just the snapshot in front of us.
I'm offering functional genetic testing at a special price through June.
