8th grade art students at Providence Hall Junior High in Herriman, UT are working on pieces to submit to the National Art Show. We are blown away every day by the creativity and design that is developing in that hallway! And from 8th graders nonetheless! Mrs Orr's 8th grade engineering class put leftover pumpkins to an educational use this morning! The kids had to create a cushion for their pumpkin when it dropped from the roof. Only 2 students were successful and came out with an intact pumpkin by using memory foam. Way to be Thinkers! Association of International Baccalaureate World Schools of Utah

Did you know all 3 of the PYP (Primary Years Program) schools in the state of Utah are public charter schools? Right now, public charter students are funded less than their public district counterparts. ALL public school students in the state of Utah should get the same funding. Please add your name to this list of supporters if you agree!
With additional funding, our PYP schools can continue to provide our students with the best education possible. This will help the schools get more supplies and technology, retain and reward great teachers, and continue to improve our excellent programs!

Endorse Senate Bill 38! I just endorsed Utah Senate Bill 38 to support equal funding for Utah charter schools. Charter school innovation improves education for everyone. Charter students should have the same funding as district school students.
