RSM Virginia RSM is an award winning, after-school math program that helps K-12 students develop math fluency, intellect, and character, empowering them for life.

RSM Virginia has locations in Arlington, Ashburn, Herndon, and Tysons Corner. We believe that a quality mathematics education is one of the most powerful tools you can provide a child. We view the widespread aversion to math in the U.S. as a major problem. We strive to create a counter culture that embraces math as both exciting and useful. RSM is not just designed for students who intend to study

math in college. It is designed to help widen opportunities in all fields by enhancing logic and critical thinking skills, developing math-specific abilities, and fostering a deep appreciation for the subject.

Nine years ago, A***n Raj joined RSM as a student. Today, he is beginning an exciting new chapter as he heads to MIT! Over the years, A***n’s hard work, dedication, and passion for mathematics have led to remarkable achievements. Even more special, he is now giving back to the RSM community as a Student Tutor, helping and inspiring younger students along their own math journeys.

At RSM, students develop more than strong math skills. They learn to reason, think deeply, persevere through challenges, and approach complex problems with confidence.

One of our goals at RSM is to instill in our students a mathematical mindset. This means helping our students develop:

- The ability to reason
- The ability to navigate the abstract
- A strong intellectual character, built from persisting through challenging problems

A mathematical mindset not only results in strong math skills, but also self-assured students.
