Mock Trial Team Openings for 2026–27!

Compass’s top-ranked high school Mock Trial team is looking for a few new members for next year. Rising 9th–11th grade homeschooled students who enjoy public speaking, debate, acting, law, or project-based learning are invited to an information session on Friday, May 15, from 3:30–4:30 p.m. in the Suite C Commons at Compass. Come hear from current team members, learn about the 2026–27 schedule and expectations, and find out why mock trial is such a powerful experience for teens. Advanced 8th graders considered. Families mingle and socialize while supporting entrepreneurial kids.

Such a sweet “Magical Mother’s Day Tea” at Compass today. Young chefs spent 3 hours making 2 kinds of finger sandwiches, scones, shortbread, mini tea cakes, and a strawberry mocktail and then served and dined with their mothers.

For Fall 2026, Compass is offering a special selection of classes for homeschooled students in our community who continue to wear COVID masks or prefer a more COVID-cautious learning environment. These in-person classes are designed to give students the connection, structure, and hands-on learning of Compass while supporting families who are still taking additional health precautions. “Moments of Madness: A Mad Hatter’s Prom” was a huge success last night!

There is an opportunity this Sunday to learn about the collaboration between Compass Homeschool Program and Alchemy Ballet. Starting this summer, Alchemy will be co-located on the same campus with Compass to allow for the academic support of elite and aspiring dancers.
