Kick off the holiday season with a sweet evening of creativity and community! Join us in the Herndon ES cafeteria for our annual Cookie Decorating Night—a family favorite filled with treats, music, and winter cheer.

For $8 per kit, each participant receives a bag of cookies plus all the supplies needed to design their own delicious creations. Stay, mingle, and enjoy festive holiday music while you decorate!

Come for the cookies, stay for the fun—everyone is welcome!

Character Day was a perfect ending to the 1st quarter! Lots of creativity and smiles all day!!

🎃 Spooky BINGO is back at HES! 👻
Join us Friday, October 24 from 6–8 PM for a frightfully fun night filled with costumes, prizes, and Halloween spirit!

💵 Admission: $5 per person | $20 max per family
🎟️ Includes 3 BINGO games + 3 tickets to use on face painting, spooky tattoos, or the raffle!
🍿 Snacks and drinks will be available for purchase.

Come in costume, bring the family, and get ready for a spooky-good time you won’t want to miss!

A great time was had at the Herndon HOMECOMING Parade! The community came out and the town pride was strong!

FCPS now requires all volunteers to complete a quick, one-time registration through Volunteer FCPS. Whether you’re helping at the Book Fair, chaperoning a field trip, or pitching in at lunch, registering ensures a safe and welcoming environment for every child. Sign up today so you’re ready to jump in whenever opportunities come up!

We had a great time visiting our students during the Welcome Walk and greeting them at our Open House on Thursday, 8/14.
