Mr. and Mrs. Crotty have been wonderful volunteers in our classrooms for 3 years now. They prepare read alouds, bring games, and engage the students in fun activities. We truly appreciate them.
Thank you to Herndon Elementary School for hosting Engine 404 (FS04, Herndon, A-shift). The crew was able to do a show and tell with the engine as they visited with some of Fairfax County’s youngest residents. These events help kids learn about your firefighters so they won’t be scared should they encounter a firefighter on an emergency event.

We had a BLAST yesterday at Herndon Elementary School's Career Day Fair, and guess who we spotted? Our amazing Show Sponsor, Weird Brothers Coffee! And, since you weren't there to catch Paul, the owner of Weird Brothers, trying on Oberon's costume from "A Midsummer Night's Dream," we're sharing this exclusive photo of the King of Coffee! Huge thanks to Weird Brothers for being incredible supporters of our community. We're proud to have a local business that's all about giving back as one of our sponsors. Let's keep it local folks -- eat local, play local, and definitely DRINK local! Cheers to community spirit and caffeinated creativity!!
