We woke up to magical snow!✨😍

“I’m running my first 5K ever in the world!” What my 8 year old running buddy said to me yesterday as we started our 5K!🥹

We started together & ended together. Along with 18 other girls & their running buddies on our team. SO PROUD of these tiny little girl warriors who have inspired & taught me so many lessons over our season (while turning me into a Swiftie!) Huge thanks to our INCREDIBLE coaching team & my AMAZING friends Christine LaBar Simard for waking up early to volunteer on 5K morning & Meg Donnelly for inspiring the girls the morning of their practice 5K. That’s a wrap on season 10!🩷🌟👟🤩

It’s glowy vest season!🦺 The most runderful time of the year!👟🌟

Last week, I asked Meg Donnelly, Nova Weekend Warriors to emcee our Girls On The Run practice 5K that just happened to fall on Halloween day! She responded immediately with an enthusiastic YES, dressed up like the incomparable Kathrine Switzer Marathon Woman , the first woman to run the Boston Marathon in 1967 and made 21 little girls extremely happy by high-fiving them every time they ran a loop! 🖐️👟💪🩶

My gratitude runs deep for you, Meg!👯 Thanks for getting up early on a cold morning!🙏 It meant a lot to me!🥰

It was a flower-filled 5k for us tonight!🍁🌼

Each week, we go out for a nice & easy 3.1 miles, knowing we have the stamina & baseline fitness to do so.💪🙌

Each week, I think it’s pretty neat we’re able to finish a 5k anytime we feel like it!🎽🏃🏽‍♀️🌟🙂

Started my 10th season of Girls on the Run coaching this morning with ! 🌟🩷👟

Kimmswick is charming & our family always makes sure we get to go when we visit! I have fond memories of going to the Blue Owl with Paul’s mom.🦉🍽️ (They have THE BEST strawberry salad!🍓🥗!)

Getting to run an impromptu race on the banks of the Mississip’ & explore even more of this cute area was so heartwarming!🏃🏻‍♀️Plus, I got to see two never-nudes in front of me at the start lol!👖🤣

The Summertime Sunset Twisty Misty Slush was 🤤!

I’m so lucky because my Buffalo Turkey Trot buddy ran with me over the 4th holiday! 🙌🇺🇸

We had our own red, white & blue theme run! It was a lot of fun running together. She’s so inspiring! She puts in the hard work all summer to keep her training up for the fall. She also has been invited to run with her Varsity XC team as a rising freshman!

She inspired me to sign up for a summer running challenge, too!💪

Can’t wait for our next run together!👟🥵😎
