This year’s Talk Like A Pirate Day was extra special as we celebrated with the unveiling of our newest playground equipment. The Nysmith Flag has been raised, and our students set sail on a day full of adventure and fun.

It was fantastic to see everyone embracing their inner pirate, with students and staff alike joining in the swashbuckling spirit. The new playground equipment added an extra layer of excitement, making this theme day one to remember.

Despite our past challenges with rain, this year the weather was on our side, and we enjoyed a wonderful evening under the stars. The laughter, the fun, and the sense of togetherness made it a night to remember.

We appreciate everyone who joined us and helped make Movie Night such a special occasion. Your participation strengthens our community and makes Nysmith a welcoming place for all. A special thank you to the Dad Squad for their fantastic debut at Movie Night! Your presence and support added an extra layer of fun and community spirit to the event. Our first Theme Day of the school year was a fantastic success! Students arrived at Nysmith School dressed in their favorite Nysmith gear, proudly showcasing their school spirit. It was wonderful to see everyone come together to kick off the new academic year with such enthusiasm and pride.

From Nysmith shirts to hats and everything in between, the hallways were filled with a sea of blue. The energy was contagious, and it set a positive tone for the exciting year ahead.

At Nysmith, we cherish the long-standing tradition of yearbooks that has been a part of our school for decades. As the school year comes to an end, our students eagerly exchange yearbooks, not only with each other but also with their teachers and administrators.
