Where children thrive, families connect, and everyone feels welcome. The curriculum meets the developmental needs of the individual child.

Ora Rosenfeld, Interim Director
Renee Williams, Administrator

At the heart of our Reggio-inspired school is a deep respect for children, the process of learning and the belief that children are competent and capable thinkers and researchers. Beth Emeth Early Childhood Center offers small classes in a stimulating and loving environment. Our program is inspired by the philosophy of the preschools

At BEECC, summer doesn’t mean a pause — it means a different kind of fun! Some of the same teachers your child knows and trusts are still here. The same warmth, the same sense of belonging, the same curiosity-driven days — just with more sprinklers, more playground time, and a little more freedom to be silly.

Summer at BEECC means your child gets to keep growing, keep playing, and keep being part of our community — even when school is technically “out.”

We still have a few summer camp spots available. Email us at [email protected] if your family would love to join in the fun!

One of the most important things that happens at BEECC has nothing to do with the alphabet. It happens when two children figure out how to share the same toy. When a shy child finally walks up and says “can I play?” When a child who struggled to take turns in September is the first one to hold the door for a friend in May.

These are the moments that tell us a child is truly thriving.

Building friendships and social skills takes more than a curriculum — it takes teachers who know each child and how to guide them in exactly the right moment. A child who needs a gentle nudge. A child who needs to be seen doing something kind. A child who just needs someone to sit beside them until they feel brave enough to join in.

At BEECC, our small classes and long-tenured teachers mean we know your child well enough to support their social and emotional growth in ways that are personal, not generic.

Because the friendships your child builds here? Some of them will last a lifetime. We’ve seen it happen.

Some of our favorite BEECC moments don’t happen in the classroom. They happen happens when we step outside - the children slow down, they look closer, they ask questions nobody taught them to ask. Why is that bug carrying something twice its size? What does this flower petal feel like? How high can I climb before it feels too high?

This is learning. Not the kind that comes from a screen or a worksheet — the kind that comes from a child who is curious, free, and fully engaged in the moment.

At BEECC, outdoor time isn’t a break from learning. It’s some of the most important learning we do. Our big playground and outdoor spaces give children room to run, explore, build, dig, and discover — every single day.

No screens. No shortcuts. Just curious kids and teachers who know exactly how powerful that is.

Every year, we follow our kids' lead. And this year? They led us straight to the stage. 🎸 When our Pre-K class fell in love with all things rock and roll, we leaned way in — and their end-of-year celebration became a full-on rock concert, performed entirely by the kids themselves.

That's the heart of what we do at BEECC. We don't just teach to children — we learn from them. We follow their curiosity, fuel their passions, and watch what they become.

Our rockstars explored rhythm, creativity, and expression — and last week, they brought the house down. 🎤🎶

Ladies and gentlemen, we present The Mighty Goblins!

Here’s the question we think every family should really be asking when they tour a preschool: “Will you actually get to know my child?”

Not just their name. Their personality. Their learning style. The way they need to be encouraged. The things that make them feel safe.

These four questions will tell you everything:

1️⃣ "What is your teacher-to-child ratio?"
The lower the number, the more your child is seen — every single day.

2️⃣ "How long do your teachers stay?"
A teacher in their first year is still learning the classroom. A teacher in their fifth year knows your child before the year even begins. That depth of knowledge is irreplaceable.

3️⃣ "How do you support social-emotional development?"
When a teacher truly knows a child, they don’t just manage behavior — they understand what’s underneath it. That’s the difference between reacting and truly supporting.

4️⃣"How does your program fit our family’s needs?"
Scheduling, communication style, your child’s unique rhythm — a program that knows your family finds ways to meet you where you are. Every time.

At BEECC, small classes and long-tenured teachers aren’t just things we’re proud of. They’re how we make sure every child — and every family — is truly known.

Come see it for yourself. Visit www.beecc.org to schedule a tour — fall spots are filling up.

Something families will notice within their first week at BEECC, the teachers here actually know their child. Not just their name — their personality, their quirks, the way they light up during music, the books they always reach for first.

That kind of relationship can’t be manufactured. It’s built over time — and it’s one of the things we’re most proud of at BEECC. In early childhood education, staff turnover is one of the biggest challenges programs face. Nationally, the average preschool teacher stays at a program for less than two years. At BEECC? Some of our teachers have been here for more than five years!

While that might seem like a small detail, ask any parent what it means for their child to walk through the door every morning and see the same warm, familiar face — and they’ll tell you it’s everything.

When BEECC opened in 1990, the intention was to build more than a preschool. The goal was to build a place where children feel deeply known — and where families feel like they truly belong.

Over the years, something beautiful happened. Parents who met at drop-off became close friends. Children who started in our 2’s class grew up together. Families who were new to the area had the chance to find their village here.

That’s not something you can put in a brochure. It’s something you feel the moment you walk through our doors.

To every BEECC family — past and present — thank you for being part of this village. You are the reason this community is so special.

And if you’re still looking for your village — we’d love to welcome you in to ours. Visit www.beecc.org to schedule your tour.

No two days at BEECC look exactly the same. Some mornings start with a question that sends us on an unexpected adventure. Some afternoons turn into an impromptu dance party in the rain. Some days a child discovers something that changes the whole direction of the lesson — and we follow their lead.

Because that’s what child-led learning looks like. We come prepared, and then we stay curious right alongside them.

Summer is calling and we're answering — with popsicles, puddles, and ALL the preschool FUN! Bring your little ones for a morning of water play, playground adventures, and snacks! While the kiddos splash and play, parents get to relax in the shade with cold drinks and good company — we call that a win. Perfect for preschool-age kids. Come as you are and get ready to get a little wet! Playdate is FREE, but please RSVP at https://www.bethemeth.org/event/preschool-popsicles--puddles-playdate.html to help us plan accordingly.

Every family looks a little different. So does every schedule.

At BEECC, we don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach — not in the classroom, and not when it comes to your family’s day. Whether you need full-time care, part-time mornings, or something in between, we’ll work with you to find what fits.

Because the last thing a busy parent needs is a preschool that makes life harder.

We have limited openings for fall — and we’d love to find a schedule that works for your family. Visit www.beecc.org to schedule your tour.
