From outgoing PTSA President:

“I am writing to resign from my position as President of the Herndon High School PTSA, effective immediately.

After serving as a PTA President in the Herndon Pyramid for the past 8 years and serving in PTA leadership for the past 12 years, I can no longer align myself with an administration that fails to promote equity, fairness, and respect for all students within our school community. I believe it is best for me to step down, allowing for new leadership that perhaps shares closer perspectives with the administration to take the helm. I hope that together you can work towards a more equitable future for all students. If you are interested in being President, email [email protected].

4) JUNIOR AND SENIOR PARENTS: please encourage your students to purchase prom tickets ASAP! The prom committee needs the funds to purchase their supplies with ticket sales. Students can buy tickets and masks every day at lunch with cash or Apple Pay or on My School Bucks.
