We had a beautiful weekly School Mass today as we celebrated the feast day of St. Paul VI! It was a wonderful reminder of his faith, humility, and dedication to serving the Church. At the end of Mass, we were also blessed to recognize three of our students who were awarded the Ancient Order of Hibernians Scholarship Award. Thank you to Mr. McCarthy and the Ancient Order of Hibernians for their generosity and support of our students. We are especially grateful for the spirit of their motto, “Friendship, Unity, and Christian Charity,” which beautifully reflects the values we strive to live each day at St. Joseph Catholic School!

On Pentecost Sunday, we celebrate the gift of the Holy Spirit and the birth of the Church. May we open our hearts to God’s guidance, peace, and grace today and always! Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created.
And You shall renew the face of the earth.

Last week, we celebrated a beautiful May Crowning in honor of the Blessed Mother. 2nd grade students first crowned Mary in the church before Mass and then again in the prayer garden. It was a beautiful day as the children processed through the prayer garden carrying flowers and placed them in baskets before Mary. As Catholics, we honor Mary, the Mother of God, because of her obedience, humility, and complete trust in God.
We are so proud of our 2nd graders for leading this meaningful tradition with such grace. Blessed Mary, pray for us.

Today we celebrate the Ascension of the Lord, a reminder that even though Jesus ascended into Heaven, He is always with us! As He called His disciples to go out and share His love with the world, we are reminded to do the same each day through our faith, kindness, and actions.
