Such a fun filled week at OHP with our families in for the Hot Chocolate Bar and Pajama Day! Our Frogs class was able to enjoy some cozy reading time with Ms.Beth. We hope you have a cozy, relaxing winter break too!

We love December at OHP! It’s a time when we invite families to share their traditions with the classes. This week we’ve learned about Ramadan, tasted Sambusas, decorated Christmas ornaments of many different kinds, learned about a Christmas pancake breakfast, and played with dreidels! We are looking forward to more family traditions next week too!

This month we are inviting families to share their traditions. Today the Bear Cubs class learned about one of the oldest Persian traditions, Yalda Night.

It has been a busy week at OHP! Rev Jo taught us to play the xylophone, some of us created a gingerbread house, and there was some gingerbread eaten!

At OHP, we are Thankful for our Friends, Family and Teachers! Happy Thanksgiving!

Our OHP music teacher has opened a new bagel shop in Fair Lakes! You can also find Bagel Joy at the Eat Loco market at Ashbrook on Saturdays, or the Fresh Farms Mosaic market on Sundays. Let’s all support Rev Jo!

Our OHP garden has been busy this summer! Take a look at our recent harvest!

Today wraps up our free summer activity suggestions! Later tonight, head outside with your kids, look up at the night sky, and marvel at the stars. Encourage them to wonder and ask questions about the solar system.

Time for another summer fun activity suggestion! During the day today, go outside for bug hunting! Grab a magnifying glass and explore the tiny world of insects with your kids. It’s a great way to learn about nature up close.

Ready for some outdoor fun? Today’s free activity is a nature scavenger hunt! Create a list of items for your kids to find and explore the wonders of nature together.

Summer is a great time to try new (FREE!) activities with your children!

Today’s suggestion is chalk! Let your child unleash their creativity and draw to their heart’s content.
