The Owls Class has created a beautiful display for Earth Day and spring!

To celebrate “Work Together Wednesday” during the Week of the Young Child, our entire school made a scribble art masterpiece for our lobby. The older students did the middle portions that are harder to reach, while our younger students worked on the edges. Way to work together!!☺️

We had some visitors today! Logan’s baby chicks visited the school and so did the Easter Bunny! We enjoyed meeting them and going on egg hunts! Have a great spring break!!

The Owls class are wrapping up their project on building and skyscrapers with a museum display! The students worked in small groups to build towers with various materials; they created a large box city using many different box sizes; and built their structures using cardboard pieces and toilet paper tubes. STEM tinkering during play are powerful ways to foster curiosity and problem solving.

The Bunnies have started their spring cleaning! They are exploring cleaning in their classroom and all throughout the school. This hands-on learning through project approach has been fun and helpful at home, too! 🧹🧺🧽

Ms. Victoria’s mom, Ms. Jen, taught the owls class about the owls from her job at a rescue center. She told stories and showed slides of the owls in her care. She also brought tools they use, and pellets to dissect. Finding mice bones in the owl pellets was the highlight! 🦉

We love sharing traditions with our friends at OHP. Thank you to Sofia and her mom for sharing about Ramadan!
