Students learned more about Chinese calligraphy from a student’s grandparent during Chinese class.

Our 5th and 6th grade band students performed for some students today to get ready for their concert tonight!! Come see the band and strings concert tonight at 7pm at Franklin Middle School.

Students in Mrs. Kosaraju's class are on the case of the missing gingerbread house in a math mystery activity!

6th grade Oak Hill students visited Rachel Carson Middle School for their winter concert!

Mathematicians are communicators and collaborators. They listen, ask clarifying questions, and explain their strategies. They also collaborate to solve mathematical problems!

It’s Hour of Code week! 5th graders in Ms. Lowe’s and Mrs. Giovanini’s classes are enjoying lots of different coding activities.

Congratulations to our Oak Hill ES Girls on the Run group! Students and their running buddies ran a 5K on Saturday! Thanks Coach Giovanini and Coach Cindy for everything!

Students in 3rd grade drew what they are grateful for while making connections to “We Are Grateful,” by Traci Sorrell.

4th graders enjoyed a nice game of soccer at recess with Mrs. Durso!

Multicultural Night was a huge success. Thanks to the PTA, Mrs. Chen and Mrs. Jiang, and all the performers and booth sponsors for a wonderful event. Thank you to all the Oak Hill families for bringing these stories to Oak Hill for all to benefit from and appreciate.

Join us for Multicultural Night on Tuesday, Nov. 15th (6:00pm – 7:30pm)

We hope you can join us on Tues. November 15th at 6:00pm – 7:30pm for our first Multicultural Night event in two year! We have lots of fun activities planned for the evening. We will have some cultural performances, including songs and the Chinese lion's dance, in the cafeteria.

Our cultural booths will be in the gym. We currently have booths for the following countries/cultures: China, Egypt, Guatemala, India, Iran, Iraq, Norway, Pakistan, Peru, Slovakia, and Taiwan.

If you're interested in assisting with these booths, please email Lindsey Phillips at [email protected], and she will put you in touch with the volunteers in charge of the booth.

We are so grateful for our Veterans and happy to be able to honor and celebrate them all week.

Oak Hill has a commitment to growing our Portrait of a Graduate skills in all students. These are skills that we use everyday across all subjects, at home, in the community, as we explore hobbies and interests and in our future careers, passions and relationships.

Our Veterans allow America to shine bright and sparkle. Wear stars, sparkles, or bright/shiny colors!

Thursday- Nov. 10th: Purple Pride Day
Purple is a combination of all military branch colors. Wear purple to show your support.

Monday- Nov. 14th: Red, White & Blue Day!
Wear red, white & blue to support our Veterans!

Veterans Day 2022 RSVP

Oak Hill ES would like to honor our Veterans on Monday, November 14th. If you are an active duty or veteran service member with a child/grandchild attending Oak Hill, we would like to invite you and your child to a breakfast and short program at 8:00 am on Monday, November 14th. Please RSVP by Monday, November 7th if you are able to join us.

Veterans Day 2022 RSVP We hope you can join us for a Veterans Day breakfast and program in the Oak Hill Cafeteria on Monday, November 14th. Oak Hill wolves getting started with their school day this morning!

Today we celebrated being our unique selves! We wore things that represented our culture, our family, things we love or just something that makes us happy! It was great getting to know each other a little more!

Our Superhero Administrators- they can leap school buildings in a single bound and lead our superhero teachers everyday!!

Everyone at Oak Hill ES is a superhero in our eyes- but today we got to dress like one!! Check out these 2nd graders in Ms. Meeks’ class sporting their favorite superhero gear for Digital Citizenship Week!
