Our final board meeting before our first event of 2026 kicks off THIS Sunday! ❤️ (Not pictured: 3 of our incredible board members!)

Blood, sweat, and tears have gone into making this a meaningful experience for our students and their families, and we couldn’t be more excited!

But the heart behind WHY we do this goes far beyond four Sundays. Here’s why 👇🏽

We started Cotillion Social because we saw a need for meaningful opportunities to teach children life skills that last a lifetime. From confidently introducing themselves to actively listening, making eye contact, showing respect, and learning to communicate without a screen in front of them, these seemingly small skills can make a BIG impact.

We believe we are called to lead our children well, but we also know parenting today comes with challenges unlike anything previous generations have faced. It takes a village, and we want to be part of yours.

Our prayer is that Cotillion Social outlasts us, reaching future generations and equipping children with the confidence, character, and tools they need to thrive in a world that is constantly changing.

Parents, we see you. We know how exhausting it can be to juggle the everyday battles while trying to raise good humans. We want this to be something that adds value to your family and gives you peace of mind knowing your child is being poured into.

We have just 7 spots remaining for students in 5th–8th grade! Our first event is this Sunday, October 18.

SCHOLARSHIP SPOTLIGHT: Southaven Kia!

Today, we are honored to shine a light on Southaven Kia and their commitment to investing in the next generation of leaders in our community!

Through their generous scholarship sponsorship, Lexi Whiddon and Zebario Morrison have been given the opportunity to attend Cotillion Social this year! ❤️

These students will be joining us for four Sundays focused on confidence, character, communication, leadership, etiquette, and social skills!

We are so thankful for our generous sponsors for seeing the value in giving a young person an opportunity like this!

This program equips students in grades 5-8 with confidence, leadership, social awareness, respectful communication, digital responsibility, and modern etiquette-preparing them to make a positive impact in their communities. One thing our board has heard over and over from parents in our community is:

“We need something like this to teach the younger generation how to act.”

And we agree….

But we also believe that giving children the tools to get there is what helps shape their future.

Confidence. Communication. Respect. Character. Etiquette. Leadership.

These are skills that have to be taught, practiced, and reinforced. And while we believe parents play the most important role in holding their children accountable along the way, we also believe there is something powerful about a community coming together to help guide and encourage these young minds.

Yes, Cotillion is a commitment—one hour for four Sundays. It may mean adjusting a schedule or saying no to something else for a moment.

But we believe the skills and confidence they gain are worth making room for.

So if you’ve been asking yourself, “Will it really be worth it?”

Our answer is simple:

Give it a try. Say yes. Give your child the tools to grow!

✨ A quick scholarship update! ✨

We are currently reaching out to our selected scholarship recipients to confirm acceptance before making our official announcement.

We want to make sure we have confirmation from each family before sharing the recipients publicly. We also have some families who have chosen to remain private, and we will, of course, respectfully honor their wishes. ❤️

SCHOLARSHIP UPDATE!

Thank you to everyone who participated in Round Two of our Cotillion Social scholarship voting! We are incredibly grateful for the support our community has shown these students ❤️

We are in the process of contacting each scholarship recipient directly to confirm their acceptance before making the official announcement.

📣 Official scholarship recipients will be announced as soon as all selections have been confirmed.

We appreciate your patience as we make sure each recipient is contacted personally and given the opportunity to accept their scholarship. We can’t wait to celebrate these students with you!

And remember — registration for Cotillion Social is still open for families who would like their student to be part of this year’s program!
