Spotlight on Drama Club!

We’re excited to invite our Hornets in 2nd–5th grade to join Drama Club and discover their talents, build confidence while making new friends. Studies show that drama makes a big impact on students including building confidence, strengthening communication and teamwork skills, increasing student engagement, and supporting their overall academic success.

Drama club will meet twice a week on Thursday and Friday mornings starting at 8am. They have one big performance in April.

Today we’re shining a Spotlight on someone who does so much more than help keep our campus safe. Deputy Howard is a familiar face, a trusted presence, and an important part of our Hornet family!

Today’s SRO trading card features 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝘂𝘁𝘆 𝗛𝗼𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 from Hernando Elementary School! Although he’s newer to the SRO role, he brings over 25 years of experience with the agency, including nearly 12 years dedicated to the Traffic Unit. He’s committed to protecting Citrus County students and being a mentor they can look up to each day. 💛🩵

💌 A little note from home can make a BIG difference! We love seeing the sweet notes our Hornet families tuck into lunchboxes!
