The intention for our Mommy & Me classes is to create a lively and supportive environment in which you and your baby make life long friends~ all while learning some tricks of the trade from your facilitator! Our style of teaching is lively and fun filled with singing songs, signing baby signs and developmental play for your little one. We have a roste

r of the top resources in the South Bay who come in as guest speakers for our mommies everyone from pediatric dentists, pediatric nurse practitioners, pediatric allergists, music instructors, newborn/family photographers, clay print artists and much more... all while new mommies have a place to talk candidly about the journey of motherhood while being supported and encouraged by a room full of mommies who are walking in the same shoes.

Big news, Nest friends! Weā€™re so excited to introduce our newest baby at the Nest: our Preparing for Your Hospital Birth Workshop. šŸ’•

This two hour workshop was created specifically for expectant parents in their third trimester who want a real, practical picture of what labor and delivery in a hospital actually looks like.

Riley Duncan is our workshop facilitator. Riley has spent the last eight years as a labor and delivery nurse, walking families through birth day after day. Sheā€™s an RN with her Master of Nursing, a Clinical Nurse Leader, AND a Certified Lactation Educator. She has seen it all, can answer any question, and loves helping parents walk into labor more calm, confident and prepared. We feel so lucky to have her at the Nest.

In two hours youā€™ll cover the stages of labor, pain management options, what happens with both vaginal and cesarean births, those first hours postpartum, and how your partner can be your best advocate in the room. Bring your support person and your questions.

This workshop is best taken between 30 and 36 weeks. Evening sessions available now through February.

Summer 2026 enrollment is open!!

Hereā€™s a look at what weā€™re offering this session:

0-4 Month Mommy & Me - sleep, soothing, feeding, self-care, and building your mom tribe.

5-11 Month Mommy & Me - solids, crawlingā€¦ the topics you want while growing your community and deepening friendships.

2nd/3rd/etc. Time Mamas - having a baby with a big kid (or kidS) at home is totally different. We talk about the baby, talk about the big kid, and you meet other moms in it with you.

Working Mommy & Me - evening classes with a working mom spin.

Parent & Me (3-11 months) - come solo, bring your partner, or take turns! The topics you love in mommy and me, but your entire family gets to build community together!

Toddler Playtime (10-24 months) - this sessionā€™s theme is Brown Bear! Each week is a mix of songs, sensory activities, crafts, snack time, and parenting discussion. This session our toddlers will explore colors and animals through activities and crafts inspired by the beloved book. Also on the calendarā€¦ a ā€œpools and popsiclesā€ family meet-up!

Sensory, Story & Song (3-11 months) - Any caregiver is welcome to attend! Singing, instruments, puppets, bubbles, and parachutes. Can be taken on its own or alongside Mommy & Me (10% off when you do both!).

Spring is Almost Hereā€¦ and So Is Sensory, Story & Song Class!

Our Spring session runs March 10th ā€“ May 22nd (no class the week of April 6th), and we would LOVE to see you there!

This play-based class for 3-10 month old babies includes:
šŸŒˆ Sensory playĀ 
šŸŽ¶ Music
šŸŖ‡ Shakers and Scarves
šŸ«§ Bubbles and Parachute play
šŸ“– Story time & puppets
šŸŽØ A springtime take home craft
šŸŒ· Lots ofĀ spring-themed activities including playing with sensory garden bins, rainbows, butterflies, flowers and more!

Class options for the spring session are:

- Tuesdays 3:15 - 4:15pm
- Thursdays 11:15am - 12:15pm
- Fridays 4:00 - 5:00pm (class is full, email to be added to the waitlist)Ā 

Spots are filling up quickly! All caregivers are welcome. We hope to see you moms, dads, grandparents, and nannies soon!
