Good afternoon, everyone!

It is bittersweet to be posting this but here it goes....Our daycare families already know but I wanted to make a note to all of the people who have encouraged and supported us over the years. Sadly the daycare will be closing August 15th 2025 as I have accepted a job as a Pre-K teacher in the district that I live in. I was not actively looking for a new job, but this position became available and I could not pass it up. I am so excited for this next chapter in my life, but leaving this place that I have loved for so long is difficult.

Carrie put 26 years of hard work and love into this daycare and I have devoted 12 of the last 14 years myself. My hope is that you all know how much I care about your children and how hard we have worked to give them a good foundation and a loving place to spend their days over the past 28 years. We have never taken for granted the trust you have in us to care for your babies.

We wanted to say thank you to everyone for being so kind and supportive over the years. We have met so many children and their families and made some true friends along the way. This childcare has been a place of learning, growth, work and commitment where we have always wanted families to feel safe and welcome. We have been by families sides through some of their best, worst and hardest days and we are so thankful to have had that opportunity. This is not an easy decision and it was not taken lightly.

Please don’t ever hesitate to send updates of your kiddos as we love to see where everyone goes after their time with us. Know that we are cheering your kids on and encouraging you all from the sidelines.

We had the biggest surprise yesterday when the Lucky Duck Ice Cream Truck rolled in to celebrate our sweet Adelia's birthday! (Thanks to her awesome mom!)

Two cute stories for the week!

-The past two Mondays we have had the sweetest volunteers, Emily and Elise at the daycare. They used to come to daycare when they were little! It has been so sweet to catch up with them and see them with the kids in the place I used to watch them! Picture attached for reference of how young all three of us were then 🤣❤️

-This week we welcomed our newest friend, Madilyn! Madilyns dad used to go to The Fun House back when I was enrolled all those years ago!

I just thought those were both worth mentioning because it's pretty cool to see the past becoming the future. 😊

Today we celebrated a "last day" for our Hadley and Julian. These two both started as just little babies and we have been lucky enough to have them in our care for years. We celebrated with some yummy treats and some water time! ❤️🌊🍨🍩
