Anyone have access to, or ability to film our production tonight? We have a few members sick, and some family members who aren’t able to come, so I thought it might be nice to film it and upload to a private YouTube link?

Well, tomorrow’s Show Day! To say I am excited is an understatement! Seeing as we only had 10 actual practices, when you take out the 2 auditions and 2 roll placement practices….then figure in ALL THE SICKNESS, Monday holidays, and sharing many actors with basketball, track and field hockey, they have done amazing!

Theatre isn’t for everyone. It requires hard work and dedication. It forces you out of your comfort zone and stretches you as person. It requires incredible team work and peer support. The theatre has long been known for its ability to provide a place that’s inclusive, encouraging and a safe space for those of us that are a little bit, well extra! 🤪 My best memories from my middle school and high school years were on a stage, or in an auditorium, and I am honored to have had the opportunity to provide just a glimpse of this to your children. Thank you for sharing them with me, and for all your support!

None of this would have been possible without Mrs. Phillips or Mrs. Mayhew! They are amazing!

Keep an eye out in the Bangor Daily News! They did multiple interviews and took some really great photos during our dress rehearsal today!

Please drop your kiddos off at 5:00 at the high school tomorrow! 100 % most importantly: WITH A FULL BELLY! 😂🤣🤷🏼‍♀️

Show starts at 6:30, donations welcomed at the door!

Next Weeks Schedule:
Monday: 2:30-4:30 HMS (everyone except Basketball players)
Tuesday/Wednesday: 2:30-4:30 HHS (we are busing to the HS, please pick-up there!)
Thursday: PERFORMANCE DAY!
Drop off at the High School at 5:00!
SHOW IS AT 6:30
Make sure children are FED PRIOR TO DROP-OFF! We will not have time to stop for snacks or hangry teens!

Cast: come with hair/make-up done!
Costumes will be waiting for them at the school.

Tech: come in stage black attire.

Where the remaining tech items had not arrived yet for us to finish set/prop/costume prep this week, I will need ALL TECH students to ATTEND Monday 2:30-4:30! Thank you!

ATTENDANCE AT ALL PRACTICES NEXT WEEK IS MANDATORY.
THE FULL 2:30-4:30. Please do not come get your child early. Keeping track of 50 students at a different school is challenging enough. Let alone keeping track of who is leaving early or getting dropped off late. Plus, these final practices are PIVOTAL in ensuring our final production is a success. WE NEED EVERYONE!

Thank you for your help, support and flexibility! We are so excited for our show! It is going to be great! Hooray for a successful first HMS Drama Club Season! We couldn't have done it without you! 😁

Girls basketball players: immediately after school get changed into your basketball uniform (QUICKLY!), and then come to rehearsal. I will send you to your game from there!

Girls Basketball has a game the 12th! Its OK! We will take whomever we can get that day for one final run through!

A size 14/16 Anna (from Frozen) dress
