Congratulations to Cooper Lewis, Owen Hart, Bode Phillips, Cam Leighton, and Kaleb Keezer who were all recognized at today’s Class B North Hockey All Stars Banquet. A special shout out to senior Cooper Lewis, who made first team all stars and played in the senior all star game, and to senior Bob Huang, who was not able to attend, but who was recognized with an academic all star award. Nice work, Crusaders! πŸ’œπŸ’πŸ’œ

Your Crusaders are moving on! Camden Hills scored first but a Cooper Lewis goal just minutes later brought it back to even. Connor Wade scored to make it 2-1 but then CH tied it early in the 3rd. Once again, Cooper Lewis answered with the go-ahead goal with just under 7 minutes remaining in the game. John Bapst will face Messalonskee this Saturday in the Semifinal game of the B North Tournament. Go Crusaders!

On February 14, Crusaders Hockey hosted its first annual Cancer Awareness Night during their game against the Cony Rams. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, the team raised more than $600 through donations and raffle ticket sales, presenting a check to the Northern Light Cancer Research Center.

Each player wore a ribbon decal on his helmet in recognition of the many ways cancer touches our lives. The team also took the ice in special lavender and white jerseys, generously sponsored by Gatorade (Pepsi Co.).

We extend our sincere thanks to John Bapst Memorial High School for their matching donation and to the winner of the 50/50 raffle, who donated her winnings back to support the cause. Your support made this meaningful night possible. πŸ’œπŸ’πŸ©Ά
