What an incredible night for CASA!

A huge THANK YOU to Rogers Toyota of Hermiston for hosting their 7th Annual Show & Shine and choosing to support our UMHS CASA Program!

The evening was filled with tons of incredible vehicles from different eras, great people, family fun, and an amazing sense of community. But what made the night even more special was Rogers Toyota's commitment to CASA, they are not only donating all proceeds from the event, but they will also MATCH the donations raised! 🙌💙

Your generosity will help support CASA and our mission to provide trained advocates for children involved in the child welfare system.

We also want to give a special shoutout to our new CASA Manager, Andrea Adams, and our Family & Community Director, who came out to share more about CASA, connect with community members, and help raise awareness about the difference CASA volunteers can make in a child's life.

A huge thank you to our CASA volunteers who came out to support the program and represent CASA:

💙 Judi Allison

💙 Virginia Rome-Garcia

💙 Dawn Kennison-Kerrigan

We are so grateful for the time, passion, and dedication you give to the children and families we serve.

And of course, thank you to the entire Rogers Toyota team, event volunteers, car owners, families, and everyone who donated or came out to support the event. Your support makes a real difference!

Our Support Can Go Further Than You Think.

When you support Umatilla-Morrow Head Start, you’re not just supporting one program; you’re helping strengthen the children, families, and communities we serve across Eastern Oregon.

Head Start & Early Head Start
We provide high-quality early learning while supporting the whole child and family through education, health, nutrition, family engagement, and school readiness.

CASA - (Court Appointed Special Advocates)
CASA volunteers stand beside children in foster care, advocating for their best interests and ensuring their voices are heard. A dedicated advocate can provide consistency, support, and a voice for a child during an incredibly difficult time.

And so much more.
UMHS brings together programs that support families through early childhood education, nutrition, health, parenting education, family support, and community connections.

Your Donation Helps Make That Work Possible.

Every contribution helps us continue to provide services, strengthen families, support our programs, and respond to the needs of our communities.

When you give to UMHS, you're investing in children. You're investing in families. You're investing in our community.

💙 Help us continue the work.

From Seeds to Stronger Communities, UMHS at the Umatilla County Fair Kick-Off Parade!

This past Saturday, UMHS was proud to take part in the Umatilla County Fair Kick-Off Parade with a float that represents what we do every day: helping children, families, and communities grow.

Our float brought our programs to life through the theme “Sew It, Grow It, Show It.”

🌻 Seed packets represented the many programs and grants that plant the seeds of opportunity and support throughout our communities.

🌸 A garden of flowers represented the children, families, and individuals who grow through the services and resources our programs provide.

🌳 A large tree represented the journey of growth, from childhood to adulthood, and the lasting impact that strong support systems can have throughout a person's life.

Most importantly, our float was brought to life by UMHS staff, community members, families, and supporters who came together to celebrate the people we serve and the work we do across our communities.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped design, build, decorate, walk, ride, and bring our vision to life! Your time, creativity, and enthusiasm made this parade experience truly special.

We are proud to grow alongside the communities we serve.

Sew It. Grow It. Show It.
