Herkimer School's Out

Herkimer School's Out School's Out is a non-profit, faith-based, after-school program open to all children in grades K-6. For the summer, we are open all day from 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM.

The program is certified through New York State Office of Children and Family Services and provides after school care in our facility (younger children), Monday-Friday, 2:30-6:00 PM. Children come directly from school and are dropped off at each site by the school bus. School's Out is also open during school vacations (provided there is sufficient need), snow days, and summer. The summer program i

ncludes lots of play on our playground, walks to the library and park, an occasional field trip, and plenty of time for swimming in the pool at Basloe Field. Snacks and a variety of activities and opportunities for growth and fun are provided every day. The Word of God is shared with children daily and grace is said before each meal and snack. Opportunities for mission and helping others are also important to the program. Children get the opportunity to work on and raise funds for mission projects. Rates are very competitive and discounts are given for siblings. Staff is well-qualified and active in their supervision. For more information of to inquire about openings, please call:
