Want to become a substitute for Hereford ISD?

Our first Substitute Training of the school year is TOMORROW!

📍 Hereford ISD Administration Building

If you're interested in becoming a substitute, please make sure you complete your application by 3pm today. You do not need to wait for our HR Department to contact you. Once your application is submitted, you can simply show up for training tomorrow!

Parents, today letters went out to your students if they were nominated for the 6th Annual HJH Homecoming Court! These students were nominated because they represent HJH with pride! Being nominated is an honor! If your student brought home a letter please join us for a parent meeting tomorrow, Wednesday, September 9th at 5:30 in the HJH cafeteria.

The HJH Homecoming Court nominees include, 8th Grade Prince and Princess, 7th Grade Dutch and Dutchess, and 6th Grade Baron and Baroness!

All HJH students have the opportunity to stay after school every day this week until 5:30 to work on our float entry for HJH! We would love to have your students involved and be in the Homecoming Parade with HJH!

*If your student will be staying to help, please pick them up at 5:30 at the back door entrance of the 8th grade hallway.

🧹❤️ A Heartfelt Thank You to Our Amazing Custodians! ❤️🧹

There is so much work that happens behind the scenes to make our school feel like home, and our custodians are at the heart of it.

While many of us are enjoying summer break, they are hard at work—cleaning, moving furniture, waxing floors, making repairs, preparing classrooms, and doing countless other things to make sure our campus is ready to welcome students and staff back each year.

And their work certainly doesn’t stop when school starts. Throughout the year, they are some of the first people here and some of the last to leave. They clean up our messes, take care of our building, help whenever and wherever they are needed, and do so much that often goes unnoticed.

Our school simply could not function without them.

We hope our custodians know how incredibly valued and appreciated they are. Thank you for the long hours, the hard work, the pride you take in our campus, and the care you show our school family every single day.

We see you. We appreciate you. And we are so thankful you are part of our school family. ❤️

Thank you for taking care of the place we all call home. 🏫🤍

What an AWESOME first 3 days of school! 🤍❤️ We’ve loved seeing our students back on campus and are so excited to see what this year has in store for the new HJH!
