Throughout the year, this newsletter will provide helpful tips, upcoming events, community resources, and information about the counseling program. Together, we can help every student grow, succeed, and reach their full potential.

PARENT PRIORITY PICK UP BEGINS TOMORROW

We have an exciting opportunity for parents of students with perfect attendance. If your student has perfect attendance, he/she will be entered into a drawing to have parent priority pick up.

If your family is selected, this is how it will work:
1. You will park in the car rider zone rather than get in the line.
2. You will be given a special sign to display in the car window.
3. Your child(ren) will be escorted out to you at the start of dismissal before other car riders are called.

It's that easy. If your child had perfect attendance in May of the 2025-2026 school year, his/her name has been entered into our first drawing. Teachers will send August winners a message notifying you that you have won. Your priority pick up will begin as early as August 10th and expire the last school day of the month. New winners will be selected for each new month based on perfect attendance for the previous month. If your child rides the bus, we have something special for you too.

We look forward to seeing who our 10 winners (families) are for August. Let the fun begin!

So excited and honored that McBean Elementary was featured by Richmond County on the first day of school! 💙🐻 What an amazing way to kick off a brand new year. We are thankful to have such an incredible school family. Here's to a wonderful year of learning and laughter!
