Beautiful Day Preschool is shifting focus slightly and becoming Beautiful Day Learning. You'll notice a few changes around here in the next few weeks. If you're a homeschool family looking for a Pre-K through 2nd grade Christian-based solution, you're going to love what's coming. I'm going to free up your time so you can focus on what truly matters -- placing your children's focus on God, becoming the best humans they can be, and spending more time as a family.

Don't worry. We will add other grades in the future and have some adult writing classes through our sister operations. All adult and children's classes are kept separate at all times.

The topic of rainbow babies and miscarriages came up in a group I'm in today for writers. Someone said something to me that was so beautiful that I wanted to share. I don't talk about it often, but it is not as though I can forget my beautiful baby that never got to experience this world. I didn't get to hold him, soothe him when he had a bad dream, or experience any of his firsts. Yet, I loved him. He was my child. It's a very personal pain that you don't understand unless you've been through it. Life goes on. You have other children to take care of and meet their needs, but the pain still lives in your heart.

Well, this other writer said to me that she'd lost two babies to miscarriage, too, and that maybe our children were playing together in heaven right now. It was such a beautiful image that it just touched my heart and soothed my wounded spirit. I hope it helps someone else, too.
