Can you find the volume?

These kiddos had so much fun finding the volumes of each shape. Student were given no specific directions except to find the total cubes in each shape. They did amazing and came up with some great strategies all on their own.

Day 2: Gummy Bear Experiment

Today we made observations. Student’s measured and documented changed for each of the gummy bears.

We have been working through the Scientific Method this week.

Day 1: We hypothesized about the effects different solutions would have on gummy bears. Then we set up our solutions (water, vinegar, baking soda with water, and salt water).
