What makes you proud to represent your state?
Representing Oklahoma is such an honor because this state is the perfect mix of grit, glamour, and good old-fashioned heart. From its rich Native heritage and pioneering spirit to the lasting legacy of oil that helped shape its story, Oklahoma knows how to leave a lasting impression.
This year is extra exciting as we celebrate the Centennial of Route 66, the most iconic highway in America, full of freedom, adventure, and vintage charm. Did you know Oklahoma has most 66 Route 66 drivable miles and the longest stretch of Route 66?
My love for Route 66 runs deep. In 2024, I was honored to win the title of National Route 66 Supreme, which gave me the chance to serve as an ambassador for its beautiful legacy.
Now, as Ms. Route 66 Tourism, I am proud to represent Oklahoma with sparkle, sass, and hometown pride as I prepare to head to nationals in July.
If a visitor from outside your state/country visited you, where would you take them to make them fall in love with your state?
I would take them on a dreamy little road trip down Tulsa’s 28 miles of Route 66, where every stretch feels like a love letter to classic Americana. Tulsa is proudly known as the Capital of Route 66®, and the road here is packed with vintage charm, history, and iconic roadside attractions. We’d cruise beneath the glow of Tulsa’s famous neon lights, stopping for photos at the dazzling signs and retro landmarks that make the Mother Road feel so alive after dark. Then I’d show them the unforgettable Route 66 giants, including the larger-than-life figures at Buck Atom’s Cosmic Curios, because nothing says Route 66 magic quite like a quirky roadside photo op. And just a short drive away, I’d take them to the legendary Blue Whale of Catoosa, one of Oklahoma’s most beloved Route 66 landmarks, originally built by Hugh S. Davis and stretching about 80 feet long. With that much charm, nostalgia, and neon-lined wonder, Route 66 in Oklahoma is guaranteed to make anyone fall in love.
