✨Lone Grove High School Prom 2026✨
IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Lone Grove High School is excited to present this year’s Prom, Golden Gala, on Saturday April 18th at the Gary Scott Center. Get ready for a night filled with glamour, elegance, and art deco inspired style! This is going to be an unforgettable evening for our students!!

Doors will open at 6:00 PM and promenade will begin at 6:30 PM. After promenade, the gym will be cleared and transformed for the dance. Doors will reopen at 7:30 PM, and Prom will take place from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Tickets are $40 and can be purchased in the high school office during school hours, between classes! Please bring exact cash or a check. Out of town guest forms are available in the office, and all guests from other school districts must be approved prior to the event!

Prom shirts are available to order through Inkd Custom Designs in Ardmore. I will put the link in the comments! Orders can be picked up at Inkd Custom Designs in Ardmore or shipped directly to you.

After Prom will immediately follow in the old gym! Students can RSVP and sign up for the corn hole tournament through the links sent to their student emails! This event is completely free for students who attend Prom, and is packed with nonstop fun. Students will have access to obstacle courses, ax throwing, karaoke, a photo booth, and a wide variety of games and other activities. Throughout the night there will be exciting chances to win door prizes and big ticket items! The energy, the games, and the prizes make After Prom one of the most anticipated parts of the night, and it is not something you will want to miss!!

My culinary class was hard at work today making garlic herb butter in preparation for their roast chicken tomorrow!!
We had a couple of failed attempts along the way, but we figured it out in the end. It was a great learning experience and a reminder that practice makes progress. 💛

🇭🇳❤️Our Family and Consumer Sciences classes have officially kicked off our Dress a Girl: Honduras project! ❤️🇭🇳

Students have been hard at work sorting through all of our remaining scrap fabric, creating their own patterns, and getting started on cutting and sewing beautiful dresses. These dresses will be distributed to girls in need across several communities in Honduras, with a special focus on Veinte de Julio.

We are so proud of the creativity, effort, and heart our students are putting into this meaningful project!
If you have any scrap fabric, bias tape, or sewing notions you’d be willing to donate, we would greatly appreciate your support as we work to make as many dresses as possible.

Maddie Grace and Madison Riggs competed at State S.T.A.R Events yesterday in Level 3 Event Management. The girls worked very hard putting together a portfolio over their event, Bruno Games, and pitched the event to a panel of judges! We will find out if they placed on Monday!

The top two, with a score of 80 or higher, will advance to Nationals in Washington DC!!

Dairy Around the World wrapped up with the sweetest Fun Friday lab!
My FACS and Culinary students made homemade ice cream in a bag , and it was a total hit! With just 1 cup of half and half, 1/8 cup sugar, and 2 teaspoons of vanilla, we sealed it up, placed it inside a gallon bag filled with ice and rock salt, and shook for 10–12 minutes.
Delicious, creamy ice cream made completely from scratch!
Sometimes labs don’t have to be complicated to be meaningful. The simplest lessons can bring the biggest smiles!! FACS is fun and tasty! 😋
