Happy Hump Day!!!! As we near the end of the school year, we are excited to be entering summer break 2024!!! If you have any concerns about academic deficits experienced in the school year, please don’t be discouraged. We are here for you!!! All tutors are experienced with children on the autism spectrum in academic and/or therapeutic settings. Unfortunately, a lot of our kiddos on the spectrum experience regression over breaks if they’re not practicing their strengths therefore even if you may not feel there are deficits, tutoring could be beneficial for you!!! So for Black History Month, we had a blast with the kids at my school! My students in particular (first-third grade) worked on research projects. We first learned about HBCUs (Historically Black Colleges and Universities) and then they chose an HBCU to make a poster board presentation about. Don’t they look great?! Thank you to the parents who participated by assisting their kids with their projects!!! If your child has special needs that is OKAY. They can still do the things that other students accomplish. We have to continue to believe in them and they will exceed our expectations!!! I love my job!!!

Good morning everyone! The school year is finally over and summer break is here☀️☀️. We will be here for your kiddos all summer to help out with any academic deficits they may have experienced this year. Tutoring will be held Monday through Friday 9a -6pm at a neutral location. Good afternoon Everyone. As you know April is Autism Awareness month and even if you aren’t directly in relationship with anyone in this community, it is still important that you make yourself and your child(ren) aware of this medical condition. Autism is a developmental disorder that can be characterized by difficulty in social interaction, communication, ability to adapt and learn as others typically may. Autism affects 1 in 54 children in the US today. Autism can be detected as early as 18 months of age. Early interventions have been proven to tremendously improve behavior associated with Autism and kiddos’ ability to learn life skills, social and academic skills. There have been a lot of ppl that ask me how they may be able to help out this community that walk amongst us interacting everyday without us even knowing!. Awareness is the biggest Key!!
