Postseason play for most Fall sports teams begins this week. ALL games will be at HOME for boys’ soccer, girls’ basketball and girls’ tennis, while the football team will be just down the road at Godwin HS. Please come out and support our Hawks as the Fall sports season wraps up!

On Wednesday, Pocahontas celebrated UNITY DAY and encouraged students to wear orange 🟠 and to stand up for kindness and inclusion while standing against bullying.

The football team hosted a tailgate prior to tonight’s game against Deep Run. The evening was filled with family, friends, food, fun and football 🏈Thanks to all the coaches, players, parents and supporters of the Hawks football team for making tonight a special one.

All student-athletes interested in learning more about spring sports offerings are invited to attend the Spring Sports Interest Meeting at 7 PM on Thursday, March 3rd.

Once again, came together for a worthy cause! Pocahontas students, staff, and parents put together an enormous care package for Olympus, a dog who endured horrific cruelty in our community. Under the direction of The P.A.C.K., our school's humane education club, dog houses were set up around the school to collect donations. Students/staff also had the opportunity to sign the anti-cruelty pledge and a huge get-well card for Olympus. Thank you, Hawks! We wish Olympus a full recovery and are grateful for the exceptional treatment and care he is receiving from Richmond Animal Care & Control and the Virginia Veterinary Centers Emergency Hospital in Carytown! 🐾
