LATE POST!!!! I am so proud of this group, our Thursday nurse aide group! They didn’t expect to see my face as their clinical instructor on Thursday! Neither did I!!!!😱SURPRISE!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣 But, we all made the best of it and had such a good time. They did a great job serving the residents. Their first day of clinicals “encounters” will go down as some of my favorites! Good job Yousif, Michelle, Tamara, Canisha, Darren, Trinity, Jackie, Claire(my ClaireBelle), and Shaneqa!!!

I'm so proud of AJ!!!! She was FULLY invested in her education with us. She came to class excited and eager to learn. She did a phenomenal job academically and clinically. She passed her state boards on the first try AND..... she has landed a job at VCU!
She's one of my many daughters and I'm sooo excited for her! NEXT.....Future doctor loading! ❤️❤️❤️

Wow, where do I begin with these two beautiful souls? On Tuesday, I was sitting in my truck waiting to go into the facility for clinicals. I usually take that time to pray over our day and of course get a little more worship in! I was in full worship mode (ugly cry and hands up) and I saw these two walking toward my truck. I was trying so hard to pull myself together, the closer they got the uglier my cry became. They walked up with these beautiful flowers and this card in their hands. I could not stop the tears. When they presented the flowers to me the words spoken just consumed me with emotions. I'm so grateful!!!!

You spend a lifetime serving others, pouring into others, encouraging them, and giving them their flowers and you don’t realize until someone does it for you just how much of an impact it has on you.

Tyler and Henry …. you both are servants of the Highest… it’s evident! You both have a heart of gold. I know you will make an everlasting impression in the hearts of every resident/patient you serve. Keep being great and stay the course! My heart is still filled! ❤️❤️

There are absolutely no words to describe how proud I am of this young lady. We welcomed her to the DHEC family in 2018 when she registered for our PCA class. She couldn’t get enough of Miss Gigi’s “strict teaching”😁 so she came back and took the CNA and Medication Aide class. 😱🙂❤️ It was such an honor to present her with those three certifications within one year.
Now, I’m beyond happy to announce she passed her NCLEX and she is now a REGISTERED NURSE (RN). Dorothée Ouedraogo Dianda WELL DONE! You did it!! I am now proud to call you a colleague. Welcome to one of the most rewarding jobs ever. Keep SERVING as the focus and never conform! Your patients, hands down, will receive the best care possible with you as their nurse! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!
